In 2005, AMERIFORGE created the most customer focused specialty forging division by establishing Ameriforge Transportation Products Group ( EPG ). The EPG offers forging solutions to a wide range of industries including Automotive, Heavy Truck, Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas Exploration and Processing, Defense and Aerospace. The EPG division has a targeted growth rate of 30%.

The EPG division provides value added forging solutions by forging close alliances with strategic customers and vendors with a goal of collapsing the supply chain. The EPG group has a wide range of forging equipment, full service heat treat facility and completely automated robotic machining cells. We also have an A2LA accredited full service metallurgical laboratory on site. 

We understand the stringent quality expectations of our customer base. Every new program is launched using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools. The APQP activity results in a Production Part Approval Process ( PPAP ). We effectively utilize Statistical Process Control to monitor on-going programs and drive Continuous Improvement  activities. The EPG division has four Six Sigma Black Belts on staff.

EPG division strives to develop loyal and cross-functional relationships with our customers and strategic vendors by engaging in proactive interactions at every stage of business development, launch of the new programs and on-going program activities.
