The "V" or Variable Body OD Nozzle is available through 24" sizes meeting the ASME B16.5 standard (all pressure classes). FVC can also meet the specifications of ASME B16.47, Series A & Series B.  FVC maintains a large raw material inventory of SA105 and some of SA350-LF2, SA182-F1, and SA182-F11. The V nozzle is available with numerous barrel thickness', to form a seamless nozzle. This variety enables FVC to provide a sufficient amount of integral reinforcement required while keeping the nozzle weight and cost down to a minimum.  The V nozzle provides more integral reinforcement than our HB necks without the added costs of a custom forging or the added cost of weight of an F body Nozzle.

The "V" nozzle can be furnished with a custom body diameter (purchaser to specify), using minimum body diameter required for reinforcement, provides fabrication economies in burning, welding and grinding operations. Style "V" nozzle can be furnished as flat bottom, spherically or cylindrically curved as depicted in the shaded area of the drawing above.
